Sora Lee is a Korean queer painter and illustrator. She graduated from the California College of the Arts in 2024. Working primarily with gouache and acrylic gouache, she finds joy in translating her emotions and experiences into visual narratives. Her art is a reflection of her inner world. Narrative illustration is her true passion. Through storytelling, she weaves together threads of imagination and reality, inviting viewers into whimsical worlds brimming with possibility. In every stroke of paint, she endeavors to capture the essence of a moment, the essence of a feeling. Ultimately, her goal as an artist is to create work that resonates with others, that speaks to the shared human experience in all its complexity and wonder.
